ECGRA Grant Programs, Key Collaboration Catalyze Vital Investment
The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) awarded $438,040.00 in the Borough of Edinboro, Washington Township, and McKean Township through the Renaissance Block, Special Events, Community Assets, and Multi-Municipal Collaboration grants.
"ECGRA is committed to making impact investments at every level of the community, including right here in our boroughs and townships," said Dr. Perry Wood, Executive Director, ECGRA. "By catalyzing progress and economic growth through these grants programs, we are ensuring that every corner of Erie County is uplifted."
"ECGRA has been very helpful in making the parks of Washington Township and Edinboro more accessible and useful to our citizens," said Mary Jo Campbell, Mayor, Washington Township. "Both communities have come together to make a joint committee to make our parks and recreation sites more viable and useful for people of all ages."

An impact investing organization, ECGRA's mission is to empower the nonprofit sector, municipal governments, and economic development agencies to revitalize Erie County. ECGRA is endowed with local share gaming revenue from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania via the Horse Race Gaming Act. Local share gaming revenue is an assessment of the licensed gambling industry in Pennsylvania. ECGRA adminsters local share gaming on behalf of Erie County government.
