ECGRA Continues Showcasing Rural Listening Report; Grant Money at Work in North East

The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) reported on its findings from a summerlong "Rural Listening Tour" at an event in North East.  In the report, ECGRA makes recommendations to position rural communities for success.

"As we wrap up reporting on the findings from our summerlong Rural Listening Tours, one thing remains abundantly clear, more resources are needed to take these impactful projects over the finish line." said Dr. Perry Wood, Executive Director, ECGRA.

ECGRA also announced an investment in North East leveraging local share gaming dollars to enhance the region.The Multi-Municipal Collaboration and Mission Main Street grants are working to advance North East's economic and community development goals as part of the Building a Better Future Transformational Grant funding.

At the event, Downtown North East was awarded $175,000 for their Mission Main Street grant program and the Borough of North East was awarded $100,000 in the Multi-Municipal Collaboration grant program for a total of $275,000 towards North East's economic and community development goals.
