ECGRA Celebrates Over $594,000 in 2024 Lead Asset Grants
The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) awarded over $594,000 in Lead Asset funding today to nine of Erie County's most impactful nonprofit organizations, as part of its long-standing investment in quality of place.
The announcement was made during a press event at the Erie Zoo, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and is one of the designated Lead Assets.
This year's funding totals more than $594,000 and reflects ECGRA's ongoing commitment to the sustainability of these cornerstone nonprofits.
"These funds represent our ongoing commitment to create positive impact to some of the primary pillars of Erie County's quality of place," said ECGRA Executive Director Perry Wood. "Improving the quality of place is vital to advancing community and economic development strategies being implemented across Erie County."
Since 2011, ECGRA has committed more than $18 million in grants and endowment support to the Lead Assets. These cornerstone nonprofits drive tourism, preserve Erie's identity, enrich families, and support Erie's creative economy.
