In December 2010, ECGRA entered into an agreement with the six municipalities contiguous to Presque Isle Downs and Casino: Greene, McKean, Millcreek, Summit, and Waterford townships, and Erie County. According to the settlement, each of them shall receive a quarterly distribution of gaming revenue that can be used to fund the costs of human services, infrastructure improvements, facilities, emergency services, health and public safety expenses associated with licensed facility operations. As of February 2020, ECGRA has proudly provided over $20 million to these six local governments.
While this grant category is not open, local governments may qualify for these IMPACT: Quality of Place grants: Community Assets Grants and Special Events Grants, this IMPACT Neighborhoods and Communicates grant: Mission Main Street Grants, and/or this IMPACT Municipalities grant: Municipal Collaboration Grants. Please note that Greene, McKean, Millcreek, Summit, and Waterford townships, and Erie County may not apply for additional ECGRA funds.
The following municipalities are part of that agreement, and therefore, are not eligible to apply for additional ECGRA funding:
